After completing a plumbing service, I forgot to restore water to my Kenmore Elite HE3T steam washer, specific model [redacted]. Upon realizing the mistake and reactivating the water supply, I attempted to run the machine. Despite the motor running, no water entered. Unable to halt the process, I resorted to unplugging the appliance. Upon reconnecting, the door remains locked, and although it sounds like it is trying to drain, no water movement occurs. How can I restart the washer and release the door lock?

I purchased a Kenmore Elite washer model [redacted] in [redacted] and had it shipped to Barbados. It's a 6.2 cu ft top-load with quad impeller. Recently, it stopped working properly. When I turn it on, the tub moves left and right, then the power shuts off. I don't want to discard this unique machine. Unfortunately, I'm struggling to find a technician in Barbados who can diagnose and fix the issue. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Last night, I began filling my laundry machine with water but got distracted before adding clothes. Upon returning, the machine unexpectedly started running, and I couldn't halt it by pressing the cancel button. I resorted to unplugging it for the night, but upon plugging it back in, it resumed the cycle. I'm seeking guidance on how to stop or reset it. Thank you.

I am seeking assistance regarding my warranty claim dispute with Home Service Club about the stem of the Surface Burner Control Switch on my Kenmore Electric Stove. Despite explaining that the stem is integral to the electrical system, they keep denying my claim for the damaged plastic adjuster knobs and stem. I have provided photos and even a video, but they insist the stem is not covered. I am a loyal Kenmore customer and need technical confirmation that the stem is a crucial part. I have corresponded with Home Service Club, including a report from Performance Electrical Co, stating the necessity for stem replacement. However, HSC claims the stem is not covered and is not essential for the appliance to function, even though it is part of the Surface Burner Control Switch. In June [redacted], we bought a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator from Sears. Although it's out of warranty, the ice maker has broken twice. The repairman mentioned the cord was too short to fix and suggested replacing the freezer door, which was cost-prohibitive. He also indicated that Whirlpool, the manufacturer, was aware of this issue. We're unable to purchase a new refrigerator at this time. We believe the manufacturer should take responsibility for this known problem and offer a more reasonable solution. We're open to paying for a repair but find the current price unreasonable, as even the repairman agreed.

We bought a Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Model [redacted] from Sears on 8/5/[redacted] and purchased a 5-year warranty. After the warranty ended, the in-door ice maker stopped working. A Service Repair provider determined that the issue was due to two broken wires in the cable that connects the ice maker to the main unit, caused by the cable bending at the door hinge. They stated that this is a known design flaw and the only fix is to replace the entire door, which would cost over $[redacted] along with installation fees. It's frustrating that this happened just after the warranty expired, and I feel Kenmore should take responsibility for this design flaw and cover the cost of replacing the door due to the poor positioning of the electrical cables.

Our Kenmore portable dishwasher stopped drying and sanitizing. A repair technician visited last summer and diagnosed that the heating element needed replacement. Although he replaced it, the issue persisted. A subsequent appointment was scheduled for Oct 13, [redacted], which was later rescheduled to today, Oct 26, [redacted]. However, I did not receive a confirmation. Upon calling, the automated system provided a different date of 11-4-22, despite my records showing it should be 11-26-22 between 1PM and 5PM. I urgently require resolution before 11-4-22. Thank you.

I am seeking a tool to tighten the door handle on my Kenmore refrigerator, purchased from a Sears outlet. Unfortunately, I have lost the key that came with the appliance. Even when I had the key, it did not securely tighten the handle to the door. Can you provide guidance on how to obtain a replacement key or tool for this issue? The refrigerator has a twin-arching style handle that measures 35 inches long, but the appliance itself is only 33 inches wide. One handle opens the freezer, while the other opens the wider door with two vegetable drawers and three shelves. Despite searching, I have been unable to find a model number, and the appliance manual is missing. The glass on my Kenmore oven door shattered this morning at 7:45 am (2-26-23). I was in the living room when I heard a loud explosion. Rushing to the kitchen, I found glass all over the floor. The oven hadn't been used for 14 hours, was turned off, and none of the burners were on. I have never used the automatic oven cleaner function. This is the first time I've experienced something like this in my 74 years. I live with my two great grandsons, aged 3 and 6, so I am relieved they weren't near the oven when it happened. I purchased this oven from Sears. Serial Number: VF[redacted]2, Model Number: [redacted]. It appears to be caused by a defective glass component. I expect the repair to be done at no charge. 2nd attempt for call back. I missed your call earlier. I experienced a scary incident with my Kenmore oven today. At 7:45 am, I heard a loud explosion while watching TV, and discovered that the glass on the oven door had shattered, covering the kitchen floor. The oven had been off for 14 hours, and none of the burners were on. I have never used the automatic oven cleaner. This has never happened before in all my years. As a 74-year-old with two young great grandsons living with me, I am thankful they were not near the oven when it exploded. I purchased this oven at Sears and the Serial Number is VF[redacted]2, Model Number is [redacted]. I believe this was caused by a faulty piece of glass. I expect the repair to be done at no expense. I would like to request contact information for customer service regarding my aging Kenmore dryer, which has been in use for many years. Our large family, including triplets, means we do numerous drying loads daily. I recently bought a Kenmore electric stove top from Sears in Canada. The electric panel is no longer functioning, and after contacting a technician, I was informed that the part needed for repair is no longer available, even though the stove is under 10 years old. I am in search of parts for a Kenmore Elite French door refrigerator, which is the same as the LG model # [redacted]5.[redacted]. We have been facing an issue where the rear upper refrigerator is freezing up around the evaporator, causing the drawers to be pushed outward against the doors, creating gaps in the seal and leading to more ice formation at the back. This problem has happened multiple times, resulting in excessive ice buildup that encases the fan. We are in need of the back panel and side panels as the front door struggles to shut completely with the meat and crisper drawers in place. Despite multiple service calls involving complete defrosting due to ice accumulation at the rear of the fridge, I believe that replacing the panels is necessary to resolve this issue and ensure proper clearance between the doors and drawers for smooth operation.

I own a Kenmore Elite 5T Steam front load washer that is displaying error codes F21, SUD, and F35. Despite cleaning the drain, checking for clogs in hoses, replacing the pressure sensor last year, cleaning the dispenser tray, and resetting the machine, the errors persist. When starting a load, one of the codes appears, leading to the machine shutting down after draining the water upon cancellation. I lack the funds for a repair service visit. Any suggestions on further steps to troubleshoot the issue and get the washer running smoothly again would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I own a Kenmore refrigerator with model #[redacted]3.[redacted] manufactured in 01/[redacted]. I believe the compressor is malfunctioning, and I've learned that Sears and LG are familiar with this problem. There seems to be a class action lawsuit concerning this issue. Luckily, my warranty covers the compressor for 10 years. I've been trying to contact Sears and Kenmore customer service throughout the day to address this matter. I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator less than 2 years ago and have encountered numerous issues. Recently, the refrigerator section was not cooling properly due to a faulty fan motor in the freezer. Despite searching through multiple parts websites and stores, I have been unable to locate a replacement part. This situation is very frustrating. Is it reasonable to dispose of a relatively new refrigerator just because the manufacturer is unable to supply a basic fan motor? I believe Kenmore should address these concerns and provide answers to their customers, as this seems like an unfair business practice.

I own a Kenmore Elite freezerless refrigerator with a separate freezer. The repairman recently came to replace the cracked inside plastic panel in the refrigerator door. To my concern, black mold was discovered on the back of the panel. I was assured it's not an issue, but I am worried about the health risks.
