I have been attempting to schedule a driving test for a teenager at the Sallisaw and/or Poteau locations, but have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone via phone or securing an appointment online. The inability to communicate with these locations and the inconsistent availability of appointments online and their ever-changing hours have been frustrating. How can I successfully book a driving test appointment at these locations? Also, who should be contacted to address this ongoing problem? It appears many individuals are facing similar challenges, and the difficulty in securing appointments either online or by phone is unacceptable. I have persistently tried to reach out for weeks, both through phone calls and online, with no success.

I had to drive 20 miles to an empty office due to a paperwork error by Examiner Cramer from the Collinsville DMV. When I arrived, she was in a personal conversation, making me wait to correct her mistake. She seemed irritated and had to ask a coworker for help on how to fix the error she made. Passively, papers were handed to her, but she complained about it in front of my child. The lack of professionalism and respect shown by Examiner Cramer was disappointing and unbecoming of a government worker. The poor customer service and entitled behavior should be addressed, especially considering the negative reviews of the Claremore Driver’s License Bureau. It's disheartening to see such behavior from those in positions of authority.

Hello, this is Lighthouse Christian Academy in Tulsa, OK. We recently received a call from a parent who mentioned that the DMV requested an 8th grade reading test for their child to obtain a permit. Our school does not offer such a test despite being listed on the DMV website. We are unsure how our name ended up there and would like it removed. For any inquiries or further clarification, please feel free to contact me, the school secretary, Candace, at [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I traveled to a DMV two hours away from my home for an appointment, facing rain during the drive there. Despite arriving just 3 minutes before my set appointment time, the rain had nearly stopped. I explained the challenges, including my dad taking time off work to help me, which is not easy for him, and the numerous unsuccessful attempts at various DMVs in Oklahoma, both with and without appointments. I highlighted my situation as a parent and a pregnant individual in need of assistance. Unfortunately, the staff member I encountered was extremely rude, unhelpful, and made me feel like a burden. It's disheartening that despite my efforts over the past year, I still haven't been able to get the help I need to complete a simple street test and obtain my license. Dealing with unfriendly and uncooperative individuals at every DMV I visit in Oklahoma has left me feeling lost and frustrated.

I need to report an incident that happened on August 10 at 2:38 PM while I was driving from Tulsa to Claremore on Highway 44. A semi-truck hit the passenger side mirror of my RV while passing me on the right on an on-ramp. We both stopped, but I couldn't understand the driver well as he spoke Spanish. He mentioned calling the police, but then said he was good and drove off. I managed to capture part of his license plate: AW [redacted], with the last number being unclear. The truck had a green cab and a white trailer heading towards Joplin. A highway patrol officer arrived but I'm unsure if he followed up with the truck driver. I have reported this to my insurance, Progressive, and am willing to assist further if needed. Thank you.

I need to report an incident with Progressive Insurance regarding a collision that occurred on August 10th at 2:38 PM. While traveling from Tulsa to Claremore on Highway 44, a semi-truck hit the passenger side mirror of my RV when passing on my right as I turned onto the on-ramp to Claremore/Joplin. We both stopped, and although there was a language barrier (I suspect he was speaking Spanish), the truck driver mentioned calling the police, but then drove off. The truck had a green cab and white trailer. A highway patrol arrived shortly after and inquired about filing with my insurance, to which I confirmed that I would. The patrol didn't indicate if they would pursue the truck driver. I am willing to provide any assistance necessary to resolve this issue. Thank you.

My daughter recently failed her driving test due to an alleged unnecessary lane change. Despite her explanation to the instructor about the lack of visible lane lines, she was told they dissolve. This claim raises concerns about the road markings in Oklahoma. It's frustrating to encounter inconsistencies among the driving instructors' guidance, leading to unclear expectations and unfair failures for new drivers. I believe transparency and consistency are crucial for the integrity of the testing process. It's important that the driving instructors are knowledgeable and provide accurate information to avoid confusion and unfair judgments. I hope for clarification on the matter and a more standardized approach to the driving tests in the future.

I'm Demetrius J. and I'm facing an issue with my out-of-state CDL obtained in Colorado. While driving through Oklahoma in [redacted], I received a speeding ticket in a non-commercial vehicle. After paying off the ticket, I contacted the county clerk in Waurika, Oklahoma, and they confirmed the payment and no suspension request. Recently, I purchased a car in Arkansas, my current state of residence, to transfer my CDL. However, the Arkansas DMV says my CDL has a hold from Oklahoma. I've been attempting to contact the Oklahoma DPS without success as I do not live in the state to visit the DMV in person. Each county clerk office directs me back to the DPS. I need assistance in clearing the hold on my CDL.

As the Personnel/HR manager, part of my responsibility involves conducting background checks for new applicants, including MVR checks for CDL applicants. Recently, there have been discrepancies in the MVR reports we receive, which affects our hiring process as these reports are crucial for insurance clearance. Any assistance in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated. I attempted to reach out via email but encountered delivery issues. I am currently seeking alternative ways to address these concerns. The first discrepancy is that the certificate issue date and expiration date are identical, implying that licenses are not certified. The second issue involves collisions listed on MVRs with dates of 12-31-69, which is inaccurate considering the birthdates of the applicants involved.

Upon arrival at 1:45 PM to the Durant, OK Tag office, I was informed that without an appointment, I could visit the Department of Motor Vehicles in person between 1-4 PM to renew my driver's license, which expired on 10/31/22. I've been waiting as they assisted three appointment holders who traveled from various locations, and one walk-in like me. With only one staff member present, the process seems inefficient. Hiring additional staff and revising the procedures would greatly improve the situation. In the past, I could renew my license at the tag office, but the current system lacks availability for appointments in Durant. Those with appointments typically schedule them 60 days ahead. This issue requires attention and resolution promptly.
