I made a purchase online for a pair of sneakers, intending to use my credit card, but was directed towards PayPal. I received a notification about being billed daily for an undisclosed item for the next 15 days through PayPal. Contacting the company was challenging as they had a different name from the one selling the shoes, so I chose to cancel my credit card. Surprisingly, the charge was said to be from a charity according to my credit card company. It might be worth informing PayPal of this strange transaction.

I am having difficulty with PayPal because a seller provided a USPS tracking number indicating delivery to a different address. PayPal confirmed the issue and instructed me to file an appeal within 10 days. However, I am unable to locate the "appeal" button on my case following their online instructions. I have spent over 3 hours attempting to communicate with representatives who provide incomplete information or send me in circles.

I was charged $99.99 through PayPal by Fixd for a service I never ordered. After contacting Fixd, they acknowledged the error and refunded the money to my PayPal account. However, PayPal deducted the refunded amount from my bank account, causing it to be overdrawn. PayPal states they cannot return the funds until my bank account has a positive balance. I rely solely on my social security income, which is due on the 3rd of the month. Until then, I am without any funds from the time I contacted PayPal on Friday. I urgently need to fill a prescription and buy groceries before the 3rd. It's crucial that my prescription is refilled without delay. Thank you. - M.G.

I've forgotten my PayPal password and can't recall the last phone number I used for 2FA. When I try to reset my password, it says it can't find an account with my email, but it shows up in the account search. I suspect my access is being blocked. I want to understand why my account is blocked, and I request for it to be unblocked so I can use security questions to reset my password.

On Saturday, October 28th, [redacted], my PayPal account was hacked, and $[redacted].87 CAD (3 x $[redacted].29 CAD) was taken from my credit card. I reported the fraud and got an email today saying I was refunded. However, despite seeing three refund transactions in my PayPal account (3 x 99.99 SGD), my balance is only showing as 23.63. I need to transfer the stolen funds back to my credit card. I am currently out of the country and can't make a phone call right now. What should my next steps be?

I had a PayPal account many years ago, but I was unable to use it. Since I didn't use it, I forgot my login details and didn't bother further. Recently, I tried to create a new account and discovered that my old PayPal account still exists. However, I can't access it because the phone number associated with it is my old one that is no longer in use. Can you assist me in resolving this issue, please? Thank you.

I am trying to withdraw funds from my PayPal account, but it is currently restricted. Despite being informed that I must wait [redacted] days and that a letter with withdrawal instructions will be provided, it has been [redacted] days with no clear indication of when I can proceed to withdraw my funds. I am seeking assistance to close my account and transfer the money to my card.

I signed up for a PayPal account in June/July [redacted]. I haven't used it since then, but I want to start using it regularly now. Unfortunately, I can't remember my account number and password. How can I recover this information to start using my account? I usually bank with Chase Bank. Thank you for your help!

I received an email at 10:39 AM notifying me of a $[redacted] bitcoin purchase on PayPal, which I did not make as I don't have a PayPal account. I've been attempting to contact someone but keep getting directed to "justask." Each time I'm led to a page prompting me to create a PayPal account, despite only being refunded one dollar from my credit card. I'm not interested in opening an account; I simply wish to receive a refund if I've been wrongly charged.

I am having trouble logging in to PayPal. When I click on the "forgot my password" button, I receive an error message saying "sorry something went wrong." This issue has persisted for 2 months, and I do not believe it will resolve itself automatically. However, my email/username is recognized by the system. eBay informed me that my account may have been hacked due to suspicious activity. I have been a loyal eBay user for at least 15 years with a flawless track record of [redacted]% positive feedback over approximately [redacted] transactions. I rely on PayPal for payments and need to address this login problem to continue selling on eBay. I have also provided my phone number [redacted] for contact. I have tried searching the common questions section with no success, so I anticipate the need to speak with a customer service representative for assistance. I updated my phone number, and now I am unable to access my PayPal account. To verify my identity, PayPal requires the use of my old phone number, which is no longer valid. They suggest updating to the new number by logging in, but I am unable to do so. I have tried calling the support line three times, but my calls keep getting disconnected before I can speak to a representative. I am frustrated as I have all the necessary account information such as my password, username, and secret answers, but I still cannot log in.
