I am seeking a refund for an auto policy on my [redacted] Toyota Highlander. The car was sold when I insured a [redacted] Highlander with USAA. Upon realizing the old policy was not canceled, I contacted an agent on December 12 at 3:17 PM. I was assured it would be resolved within 48 hours, but after eight days, I have not received any update. As a member for 50 years, I am disappointed with the lack of service on this matter. I anticipate a prompt resolution and reimbursement. Thank you. - A.M.

I parked my car in a short-term parking garage, walked two blocks for a haircut, and returned to find it missing. After checking nearby garages, I took a taxi home. Despite multiple searches and contacting the police, my car could not be located. My wife even reached out to the towing company recommended by the police, but no information was available.

I have entered the information about where and when I parked my Honda Accord Crosstour with the license plate MRG [redacted] (Texas) and detailed the steps taken to locate it. At this stage, it appears that my car may have been stolen, as I am unable to find it. I have reported the incident to the Dallas Police Department and USAA's insurance department. I am hopeful that the Dallas PD will issue a bulletin to alert other jurisdictions about my missing car. If you have any additional suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. I will also explore what "GetHuman" may be able to provide in this situation.

I recently contacted to file a claim for a damaged windshield and was transferred to a satellite claims center. They quoted me approximately $[redacted] to replace my windshield with a $[redacted] deductible. However, I found a local glass business, "Fast Glass," that replaced my windshield for $[redacted] without needing to use my deductible. This situation has raised concerns for me regarding the satellite claims process and has me contemplating switching to a different auto and homeowner insurance provider. I feel like either the satellite claims or USAA might be involved in some form of scam. Sincerely, JB. [redacted].

I recently updated my cell phone number, but I am having issues receiving security codes from USAA for login because of this change. I've reached out to two representatives and received conflicting advice on how to proceed with recovering my account. Their suggestions to use the website recovery option have not been clear cut, and the chat function has not been helpful either. I urgently need access to my insurance records and statements, but I'm facing obstacles due to this verification issue. While I appreciate the added security measures, the inconvenience and frustration of not being able to access my account easily are quite overwhelming. I hope to find a quicker resolution to this challenge.

I have been using C&F International Insurance through USAA for booking our cruises. Recently, we needed to file a travel insurance claim due to a family member's passing. I was told the processing time would be 3 to 4 weeks and could be further delayed if more documentation was needed. This level of service is not what I expected from USAA after being a loyal customer for decades. It's frustrating to have thousands of dollars withheld for such a straightforward claim. Claim #220513USAA099 Caribbean Feb 27, [redacted]–Mar 09, [redacted] (11 days) I would appreciate any assistance from USAA in expediting this claim. Thank you, Ken P. USAA requires proof of address for my recently turned 18-year-old son. Among the requested documents is a "lease agreement." However, my son lives with me, so he doesn't have a lease agreement. This requirement caused frustration with my older son previously, leading him to close his account. Should USAA persist in seeking a lease agreement, I will be compelled to close my other son's account, as well as my own, and discontinue all banking activities with USAA due to their declining service standards over the years.

USAA requires proof of address documentation for my **-year-old son. One of the documents requested is a "lease agreement," but as he lives with me, he does not have one. I had a similar experience with my older son, who closed his account due to this issue. If USAA insists on the lease agreement, I may need to close both my sons' accounts, as well as my own. I am disappointed with USAA's declining service over the years, and this could be the final issue for me.

I am currently on a boat in the South Pacific Ocean and have been attempting to contact you all day without success. I am facing an issue with changing my veteran husband Christopher Power's payment information, and I will be returning on April 1st, which is his Army release date (April Fools Day). Please ensure my account is not canceled, as I will address any outstanding payments upon my return. Thank you for your support since January [redacted]; I truly appreciate it. Please do not disappoint me now. You can reach out via email. I hope you can exceed my expectations and provide exceptional customer service like USAA. I am relying on your assistance to make this situation a priority and potentially create a positive advertisement for your company. Please help me with this matter.

I have been a USAA member for nearly 42 years, and recently encountered unsatisfactory customer service. Despite providing my social security number and member details, I was asked to send a copy of our Texas driver's license due to a purported security issue. As a government employee, I am hesitant to comply. The customer service representative was unable to explain the necessity for this request. I simply want to make a payment and check our credit card balance. I was warned of consequences if I did not comply. With a minimal balance, I may cease using the card altogether. I seek clarification on this matter promptly. - Kathie & Bryan Gover

I'm not sure if anyone will see this message, given my recent issues with USAA, but I have a question about my IRA that I can't easily get answered. Your automated system doesn't provide a way to reach a live person, and it's frustrating. I am considering transferring my funds to another institution because of these issues. USAA used to be a well-respected company, but recent changes seem to be impacting its service negatively.

I was involved in an accident at the grocery store parking lot yesterday with William Frymire, who is insured. He accidentally pushed a grocery cart into my car due to not seeing it in front of his pickup. We both inspected the damage and exchanged insurance details. William provided me with his USAA insurance information. I have pictures of the incident and would like to have the dent on my car repaired.

Hello, I am Vanessa Motley Howard. In [redacted], my husband Leroy House and I opened a joint account with USAA in Pittsburgh for various insurances and banking services. After my husband's passing in February [redacted], I received a letter stating I was eligible for a $[redacted],[redacted] auto reimbursement claim. Due to grief, I initially set aside the claim letter but later called USAA to follow up. Subsequently, I received a check at my mother's residence without a password. When I contacted USAA about the check, they couldn't assist me because I hadn't set up a password initially. I explained that I never set a password when opening the account, but they still couldn't proceed without it.

On February 28th, I was asked to exchange color copies of my husband's and my IDs with the company. I complied by sending the documents to the address provided, [redacted] Richmond Highway Alexandria apartment [redacted]. However, a letter was mistakenly sent to my mother's address containing important information. When I inquired about it, they claimed they couldn't discuss it with me. I was puzzled as to why the mail I sent with my correct address ended up going to [redacted] Eggroll, a place I've never lived. The mail was redirected to my mother's address without my knowledge. This mix-up is crucial as it pertains to my husband's veterans benefits and child support. Despite my efforts, I have not received a satisfactory response from the company, which is causing distress as my mother is handling matters on our behalf without full disclosure or access to our account. I am determined to resolve this issue promptly.

I recently discovered that USAA was one of the major advertisers on Fox News, a network known for spreading misinformation. As a long-time USAA customer, I was dismayed by this association. USAA prides itself on trust with its clients, so supporting a biased organization like Fox News seems contradictory to their values. I have been a loyal USAA customer for many years, and I believe that Fox News' misinformation should prompt USAA to reconsider their advertising choices.

My account was involved in a suspected fraud situation. USAA has decided to not do business with me and has denied access to my account since the 9th. I only found out on the 25th when I called about a banking issue regarding my upcoming direct deposit in two days. Despite my requests, my funds were deposited into the restricted account, and I was unable to access the deposits. These actions feel punitive as I rely on these funds for my living expenses. I urge USAA to release at least 70% of my funds, as I am facing challenges like paying my rent and affording food with the current restrictions in place.

I updated my email on our USAA account online, but I'm still getting automatic bill emails to my old address. I've checked everywhere online to change it, but found nothing. I contacted customer service, and they suggested updating the email in my spousal account, which I hardly use. Even though they changed it, I'm still receiving emails on my old account.

Good morning, I have a USAA credit card that we pay off monthly. Our recent payment of over $10,[redacted] was delayed in reaching you as my bank had to send a physical check. The check, dated April 20, [redacted], was received by you on April 26, causing a $[redacted] finance charge due to the delay. Despite our good standing as long-time customers, our request for a fee reversal was denied. This situation, beyond our control, was unexpected given our history. We are disappointed and considering closing our account due to this issue. We are unsure if the check was delayed at your end or lost in transit. Your guidance is appreciated. Thank you.

A few days ago, I tried to receive a quote for auto and home insurance. After filling out all the necessary information, I acquired an ID, a password, and a login pin. I received an email with a USAA number [redacted]12. However, I ran into an issue where the verification code was being sent to my house phone instead of my cell phone, which cannot receive texts. Despite contacting USAA for assistance, I was unable to resolve the problem. Even though I received an email with my ID number, I am still experiencing difficulties logging in, with a message stating that the system is currently down. I kindly request that the system be fixed so I can log in using my cell phone number for verification. Thank you. Best, Jerry C. F. Email: [redacted]

I am interested in applying for USAA membership. I meet the qualifications as a retired US Army personnel and currently working for the US military in Germany since [redacted]. Though my stateside driver's license has expired, I hold a US Army Europe military driver's license and a German driver's license. However, neither of these IDs seem to be accepted in the system. I am unsure if I qualify for membership and if I can request auto insurance without a current US driver's license. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
