After noticing multiple $5.00 charges from "Google Play" on my account, I contacted customer service to open a claim. Following a week-long investigation, I tried to log in to find a message stating my claim was denied and my card was blocked, preventing access to my balance. Despite calling multiple times, customer service explained they couldn't resolve it because the issue is with the risk management department. Even after speaking with managers, they are unable to assist and just advise waiting for an email response in two days. Additionally, I was asked to email a photo of my driver's license, which seemed unnecessary after the claim was already denied. I have been patiently waiting for days for a resolution and hope the block can be removed promptly so I can access the remaining funds in my account.

I have been experiencing issues with monthly fees being charged to my account, which has been locked for over 6 months now. Since I am currently quarantined due to having COVID-19, acquiring a Georgia ID has been challenging as I lack my birth certificate or social security card. I am reaching out for assistance in closing my account and potentially receiving a check or providing a copy of my expired Florida ID as an alternative. The prolonged account lockout is depleting my available funds, making it difficult for me to resolve this situation. I have attempted to contact customer service multiple times without success. Unlocking my account would allow me to purchase my birth certificate online, followed by obtaining my social security card and eventually securing a valid form of identification. These obstacles have severely impacted me during the pandemic, preventing me from accessing essential services such as unemployment. I initially chose the Walmart Money Card to meet my financial needs, but these challenges have resulted in job loss and housing instability. My name is John S., born on December 11, [redacted], with the last 4 digits of my social security number being ***-**-[redacted]. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this matter promptly.

My new card was stolen in April and was activated without my knowledge or permission. I reported it and disputed every charge, but most of my money was gone. I was in prison with the Alabama Department of Corrections from 11/18/20 to 06/21, so I couldn't have used my card until after 06/18/21. A replacement card was sent to me while I was in prison and I received it upon my release. I was informed by your company that most of my funds were back on the new card and the rest would follow after the investigation. The IRS deposited $[redacted].00, and I expected the balance to be available when I left prison on June 18. However, when I tried to make a purchase at Academy Sports, my card was declined, and I had to pay the remainder. It's been a sufficient amount of time for all disputes to be resolved, and I now need a new card sent to me quickly as the current one is locked or disabled. Since my recent release from prison, my mailing address has changed. Thank you.

I am inquiring about a $[redacted].08 transaction from an online merchant. They claim they have successfully sent it, but I have not seen it in my account. They have requested a written statement confirming that the payment has not been received. The account number provided is [redacted] and the routing number is [redacted]. They have also mentioned a Reference ID number, R[redacted]709A, which is not a trace ID but a confirmation number associated with the transfer. The payment was from Woopla Inc through Zippy Cash. If my bank cannot locate the payment, I will need to provide the full bank routing and account numbers for further investigation. Please contact me via email with any updates.

I am owed a $[redacted] incidental fee from the Red Lion Hotel in Boise, ID. They released the fee back to me on April 29th upon check out, but my Walmart MoneyCard (Green Dot) has not given it to me. I have been contacting them for nearly two months, and each time I call, I receive a different explanation. Despite being promised the money on May 8th and then May 13th, it still hasn't arrived. The customer service representatives express regret for the inconvenience but fail to connect me with a specialist as promised. This has caused significant distress as the money in question is all I have. I am frustrated with the inconsistent information and the unfulfilled promises. I am at a loss as to how to proceed. Thank you for any assistance. - Mary S.

I accidentally damaged my Green Dot card, and a replacement Money card was issued instead of the regular one. Despite being assured by the customer service representative that a new card was sent out last Thursday with my money on it, it has not arrived after four days. When I called again, another representative said I won't receive it until the 11th of July. Different agents have given me contradicting information, and I've been unable to speak to a supervisor after talking to 11 people. Due to my medical condition of seizures, I can't recall the address I used 7 years ago to set up the account. I have updated my phone number but not my address, which is now preventing me from accessing my funds, essential for my welfare. This situation has left me distressed, as my electricity has been shut off, and I fear becoming homeless if I can't access my funds on time.

I placed an order for pickup and successfully retrieved it. I received the emailed receipt and made the payment, which was deducted from my account. However, the funds are still being held to cover the transaction, which means I am currently out double the amount. I kindly request for my funds to be released promptly as the transaction has already been settled. Unfortunately, the customer service representative I spoke with was unhelpful, mentioning the funds should be available by July 19th. There is no valid reason for holding my already paid funds. I suggested a resolution should be provided by the Walmart Money Card team to address this issue. It has been more than a week since the transaction was finalized, and the funds are still being retained on your end.

I have been a Walmart Money Card holder for about 8.5 years. A few days ago, I received a call regarding suspicious activity on my account. I was informed that I would receive a new card due to unauthorized charges. However, when I tried to withdraw my check from Walmart, I encountered issues with a code 41, which led me to contact customer service. I was also offered a "baroda," but encountered an error message in the app. It has been three days since I have been unable to access my funds, leaving me and my five children without essential resources. I am desperate for assistance in resolving this matter swiftly as my children are in need. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted]. Your prompt help in unlocking my funds would be greatly appreciated during this challenging time. Thank you for your attention. - Billy W. [redacted]

I contacted the number on the back of my Walmart money card. I spoke to one lady who abruptly ended the call. The next lady mentioned she couldn't update my number, so she took note of my email for verification. Unfortunately, I didn't get the confirmation email as expected. My account remains unverified, leaving me unable to access it. I'm unsure of the next steps, as I'm hesitant to call again and potentially speak to another agent I may struggle to understand.

I'm feeling frustrated as Green Dot deactivated my card unexpectedly, blocking me from making essential purchases, including an emergency. It's my hard-earned money that I loaded onto the card, and I expect better service. I tried to communicate my urgency to them, but they made it difficult by not allowing me to speak to a representative. I even experienced poor customer service earlier when a lady put me on hold indefinitely and eventually disconnected the call. I feel like I've hit a dead-end and am contemplating taking legal action against them if this issue isn't resolved promptly. This situation has left me incredibly upset and disappointed, beyond what words can express.

I had a pending transaction for $29.67 to optonote.com. I contacted Green Dot about the transaction, stating I did not make it. Even though I canceled the pending transaction, it still went through. Green Dot noted that I did not make the transaction and canceled it. However, the $29.67 was still charged to my account today. I would like this amount refunded back to my card.

My card was restricted due to suspicious activity, probably due to a large deposit, which was our backpay from SSI. They requested a picture of my state-issued driver's license to verify my identity. I hadn't used the card in months since switching to a local bank. The backpay for my daughter, who lost her father this year, was unexpectedly loaded onto my Walmart Moneycard, even though it's usually deposited in our bank account. As her representative payee with Social Security, we urgently need these funds for rent, car payments, and insurance. I've been in touch with a Walmart Moneycard representative named Nancy Martha who created a case (#[redacted]5) for me to send my ID for verification to [redacted] I was told it would take 2 business days to lift the restriction after sending the required pictures. Frustrated with the process, especially given my situation and the delays in resolving the issue without direct customer support.

I lost my wallet last Tuesday at work, which had my Walmart MoneyCard, so I promptly locked the account the following day. Although I received a replacement card and managed to withdraw $[redacted] using a barcode, I still had $[redacted].73 remaining in the account. When I attempted to withdraw another $[redacted] today, the transaction failed. Contacting customer service, I was prompted to enter the last four digits of the lost card ([redacted]) and the account ([redacted]), only to be told it was invalid. I urgently require access to the remaining funds to cover bills. Can the funds be retrieved or transferred to a new MoneyCard? Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I experienced an issue with the ATM about 3 weeks ago when it retained my card without returning it. Subsequently, I ordered a replacement card, which was anticipated to arrive within 7 to 10 business days. However, nearly 4 weeks have passed, and I am still without access to my funds for essential needs like food and gas for work. I am feeling very desperate as I have not received my card, despite numerous assurances from representatives that it would arrive shortly. The situation is distressing as I have children to care for and pressing bills to address. I attempted to escalate the matter to a supervisor during multiple phone calls today, but I was repeatedly disconnected. I am urgently seeking resolution and access to my funds to manage my financial responsibilities.

On August 20th, $[redacted] was erroneously debited from my account using the bill pay feature in the mobile app. Despite numerous attempts via phone calls, live chat, and emails daily since then, I have faced disappointments and chaos. The lack of resolution from customer service has been disheartening. Each day I am assured to wait one more day for the refund to be processed, now after two weeks. The system's automation is inadequate, having opened 10 cases resulting in a resolution to cancel the transaction and wait an additional five days for the funds to return to my account. Upon follow-up, I found the issue unresolved. The subsequent interaction with a rude and unhelpful service representative has added to my frustration. Walmart's handling of this matter has felt like theft and caused unnecessary stress. I seek guidance on escalating this matter, possibly to the Better Business Bureau.

My card was blocked due to fraudulent activities, and though the money was reimbursed after an investigation, my account was shut down twice for the same issue. It has been two weeks with no access to my savings, prompting me to change my direct deposit. Missing out on a $[redacted] social security check has impacted my finances greatly, with approximately $[redacted] in total affected. I am frustrated with the lack of communication from Walmart and the inability to access my funds, even at a Walmart money counter. I have tried to contact them without success and am disappointed in the situation. I have decided to open a new account due to ongoing issues with Green Dot. My account number is [redacted] under Robert Brownson, and I urge them to take action promptly.

I bought a Wal-Mart MoneyCard today at a Wal-Mart store, loaded it with $99.00, and paid a $1.00 fee. After waiting, I tried to register it online, but it kept saying "unable to activate the card." I also called the provided number, but they directed me back to the online or mobile app registration. Why can't I complete this essential step?

On October 4, [redacted], my WMC was blocked due to suspicious activity, and I have filed an official dispute. While attempting to secure an online loan, there was a fraudulent $[redacted] transfer in my account, leaving me with an inaccessible balance of $[redacted].78. I provided personal information to Pasadena, who confirmed receiving it on Monday and requested an additional 10 days. I have since opened a new Chime account and obtained a Step card. The loss of this money has left me unable to cover nearly a thousand dollars in outstanding bills and late fees. I am seeking a prompt return of the funds. I am curious if there is any insurance coverage for this theft and if there are any legal avenues to pursue. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently reported my wallet stolen, which had my social security check in it. The bank canceled the card and said they would send a new one with my check. However, I received an email about a transaction, which made me realize my whole check was gone. After calling and explaining, I was disconnected. I need to dispute all the charges made from my check of $[redacted].00 that was deposited on October 29th.

On Saturday, 10-30-21, I contacted to report fraudulent transactions on my card. Upon calling the Walmart Green Dot number, I spoke with Earl. He placed an order for a new card for me and then transferred me to the dispute line to address the fraudulent charges. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting on the phone for 2 hours, with the hold time fluctuating between 3 minutes and 28 minutes repeatedly. Today I called again to request a new card since I don't have the card number to report the fraudulent transactions. This experience has been frustrating since I have been a long-time customer and never had to deal with such issues before. I urgently need to report the charges to get a refund. Please reach out to me at [redacted] to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you. - Teresa G.
