I sold a MacBook in November that was in good condition. The buyer initially seemed happy but later claimed there was an issue and asked for money for repairs. I offered a refund if he returned it. He agreed but it's been two months, and I haven't received anything. He mentioned his wife returned it without a receipt. I refunded him but haven't received the MacBook back. He said he posted it but can't find the receipt. In my recent message, I explained that I sold the MacBook in good condition and was surprised by the fault he claimed. I have not received the MacBook despite his wife supposedly sending it back. I mentioned being out of pocket and seeking advice from eBay soon if not resolved. In his response, Garry apologized for the delay due to moving overseas. He mentioned the challenge of finding the postage receipt but assured that he sent it and hoped to find the receipt when unpacking. He is overseas now and will update me if he finds anything. I hope for a resolution as I fear I may not get my money back or the MacBook due to the buyer relocating to the USA.

Hello, I want to report an issue with an order I placed on January 16th for a baby toilet seat. The delivery was expected on January 20th, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I received a different item instead of the baby toilet seat. I have been in contact with the seller multiple times to inform them about the wrong item sent. Despite explaining the situation, the seller repeatedly asked me to check with my neighbors for the delivery. I received plastic clippers meant for builders instead of the toilet seat. I have tried contacting eBay for help, but my case was closed as the seller provided verification of delivery. I have sent images to eBay to prove the wrong item was received, but my case remains closed. I am frustrated with the lack of resolution and the absence of a contact number for direct clarification. My order number is 09-08[redacted]3 for the baby toilet seat priced at £13.99.

I purchased a new pair of Versace trainers (Men's, UK Size 9) on eBay. The listing indicated "No Returns" and as a UK Size 8.5, I anticipated a slightly loose fit. Upon receipt, the shoes were much too small. Despite initiating a return, it was promptly declined. Subsequently, my appeal was also rejected within 5 minutes. I am now left with unwearable shoes. As per the Consumer Contract Regulations, there should be a mandatory 14-day cooling off/cancellation period for online purchases. Additionally, the Consumer Rights Act deems unfair terms, like "No returns," as unlawful. I am curious how eBay circumvents these regulations and what recourse is available to resolve this issue. I purchased 2 items from rarewaves-ca. Unfortunately, both items were not as described. For the Patrice Leconte Collection, the description indicated the movies were in English, but they are actually in French and Italian, which I cannot understand. I contacted the seller with no response. Following that, I received Capernaum instead of Kapernaum, which had no English subtitles. This seems like a serious issue. I'm concerned about the lack of response and wondering what steps eBay will take. I paid through paypal.co.uk with a Spanish credit card. Thank you.

I recently returned to eBay and am unfamiliar with the new policies. I have encountered issues with two items I purchased. The first is a karaoke set with two microphones that I believe I cannot return for a refund. I discovered one microphone was faulty after finally setting up the heavy equipment due to health issues. The seller has not been responsive, possibly taking advantage of the updated return policy. The second item is a set of two walkabout phones. I only noticed one had low volume after using the other extensively for work. Unfortunately, due to ongoing health problems and operations, I missed the window to report the problem. I feel that the new return regulations favor sellers and do not adequately protect buyers. Having spent over £70 on these non-functioning items, I am disappointed that I am now unable to seek a refund according to the updated rules, which may deter me from using eBay in the future.

I purchased and paid for two iPhone 13 Pro Max headphones, but I only received one unit which is malfunctioning. My account got suspended by eBay for "irregular activity" after a buyer filed a case claiming they didn't receive the item. I provided tracking information showing it was in transit. Strangely, the buyer signed for the delivery but still escalated the case against me, which eBay resolved in their favor despite the proof. I've been trying to reach eBay's live support for a month now with no success.

I recently canceled an order that was still at the delivery service depot. One of the reasons for canceling was due to misinformation provided by the delivery service. Despite being home, they falsely claimed I wasn't available to collect the package and left a card. When I contacted numberonebatteries, I encountered someone who was aggressive towards me. I have informed the seller via eBay that I no longer wish to receive the item and have requested the order be canceled. Unfortunately, the seller has not responded to confirm the cancellation.

I sold an item to a buyer in the USA, even though I usually don't offer international shipping. I made an exception this time and arranged the shipping, costing £18. The buyer has now informed me that the item arrived damaged, despite being sent new with tags. A return case has been opened, and I requested photos of the damage to file a claim with Royal Mail, but haven't received them yet. The buyer is asking for another £18 for return postage. I feel frustrated that after going through the trouble of shipping internationally, I now have to cover return postage costs and refund the £40 paid for the item that was originally in new condition. This situation seems unfair as it will end up costing me money without getting the item back.

I bought a gaming computer from Archer-Gaming on January 28th. It arrived on February 1st, but it was missing the power cord. After buying one, I noticed a noise coming from inside the case when I placed it upright. When I tried to use the DVD drive, it didn't recognize any disks. I tried multiple DVDs which worked in another computer. This was meant for my nephew, but due to these issues, he no longer wants it. While using eBay UK today, I encountered a message stating that my account was temporarily locked for security reasons and prompting me to reset my password. Despite having a strong password and robust security measures on my computer, this frequent password reset requirement is frustrating and unnecessary. I maintain high-level security on my computer and prefer not to change my password repeatedly. I live alone with no visitors and have stringent security protocols in place. This insistence on password changes is inconvenient and unnecessary. I am reluctant to comply with this request once again and may consider closing my eBay account if this issue persists. I value my online security and resent any interference, such as unwanted advertisements and unnecessary password changes.

On February 12, [redacted], I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A10 LCD Display Touch Screen Digitizer from Ebay with order number 12-08[redacted]2 for £29.95. The issue I encountered was that the delivery postcode was different from the one I provided. I did not enter or download the incorrect postcode "IP32 6AD." Despite carefully checking all the address details, this error of an incorrect postcode occurred. I attempted to contact Ebay by phone using numbers found on Google, but was unsuccessful. I made the purchase as a guest and do not wish to create an Ebay account. As a buyer, I am disappointed that the payment system included a different postcode than the one I inputted. Although I manually entered the correct postcode for my address and deleted the automatically inserted one during the transaction, the order confirmation email displayed the wrong postcode "IP32 6JR" for delivery.

On 12 February [redacted], I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A10 LCD Display Touch Screen Digitizer from Ebay. However, there seems to be an issue with the delivery postcode. Even though I entered the correct postcode of my address, ip32 6ad, during the purchase, the order confirmation email shows it will be delivered to ip32 6jr instead. I tried reaching out to Ebay via phone but couldn't get through. As I bought the item as a guest and don't have an Ebay account, I am disappointed with the error in the payment system. I would like a refund back to my bank account for this order.

I purchased a steamer from an eBay seller called degoodday, a Top Rated Seller with [redacted] Purple Stars. Unfortunately, the steamer I received was dented and made of thin steel. The five-tiered design was so shallow that I couldn't steam anything properly on it. Even the smallest potatoes or a garlic bulb prevented the layers from fitting together snugly. I contacted the seller regarding the issue and sent photos twice, but they claim not to have received them. As a regular buyer on eBay who has been satisfied with previous purchases like fine jewelry, pearls, and silver lamps, this experience has left me frustrated. I paid £29.99 for the steamer and would like a refund due to this deceptive sale.

I recently sold a pair of football boots on eBay described as a used size 6 pair in the advert. The buyer contacted me after receiving them, claiming they were not as advertised and did not fit his son. I asked for a photo of the label which showed size 6, but the buyer argued they might be a 5.5. eBay sided with the buyer, issued a full refund, and covered postage. I am now at a loss as the listing clearly stated the correct size. I wish to appeal this decision and take further action if necessary.

I purchased a black summer dress from underxmas on January 20th. However, the dress turned out to be significantly larger than expected. I returned the dress to the Wednesbury post office on February 11th at 8:36 am using 2nd class mail with proof of posting. Despite the tracking showing the item was delivered on February 16, the company is claiming they have not received it. I no longer have the receipt showing the delivery, but I can still track it on my end. When I requested the company name, they only provided the address. They are refusing to issue a refund without the tracking number, insisting the item has not been returned, despite the delivery confirmation.

I purchased this item in December as a Christmas gift from my mum. It arrived before Christmas, but I was unfortunately unwell and hospitalized with Covid shortly after. When I returned home in January, the earphones were not working. I contacted the seller, flyagain_store, on January 24th to explain the situation. After minimal communication, the seller offered me a partial refund, which I declined, requesting a full refund instead. The seller then proposed sending a new set of earphones on February 3rd, which I accepted. However, it is now February 17th, and I have yet to receive any replacement or further communication from the seller. I am frustrated as the return period has elapsed due to my hospitalization, and my mum is out of pocket. I am considering seeking assistance from eBay regarding this matter.
