Hello! I recently tried to sell an item on eBay for the first time. After setting it up, a buyer purchased it but then quickly canceled the order. Despite me approving the cancellation, the buyer's end showed it as pending. Even after contacting eBay and being told the money would be released back to the buyer's account in 24-48 hours, it still hasn't been resolved. Now, the buyer has reached out to me saying they haven't received any refund, and the money is still on hold in my eBay account. All I want is for the buyer to get their money back. Dealing with these issues has made me hesitant to sell on eBay again due to the complications that arise.

As a new eBay seller, I recently sold a Chanel handbag for $5,[redacted] including shipping fees. I used the eBay shipping platform to print a shipping label, and the buyer's address was automatically generated and added by eBay. Despite the tracking showing that the item was delivered, the buyer claims they did not receive it and that it was sent to the wrong address. eBay customer service informed me that I should be protected as long as the tracking indicates delivery. They reassured me three times that I would receive payment. However, eBay closed the case in favor of the buyer, refunding them and now demanding $[redacted] in selling fees from me. The address was automatically generated by eBay, so it should not have been incorrect. I also found it concerning that eBay attempted to withdraw $[redacted] from my bank account without my explicit consent, as our agreement was only for deposits.

I am currently unable to access my eBay account due to being locked out. The email associated with my account, [redacted], was hacked and is no longer accessible. As a result, I've created a new email, [redacted] Additionally, my phone number, [redacted], was compromised, leading me to obtain a new phone number, [redacted]. Unauthorized purchases amounting to thousands of dollars were made on my eBay account, but my bank intervened. Unfortunately, I am now unable to access my eBay account as the verification is being sent to my compromised email and phone. I need to regain access to my account to update my contact information, review past orders, and place new ones.

Hello, I hope you can understand a little German or use the translator. Yesterday, I transferred the payment amount and it was deducted from my account immediately. I wanted to send a screenshot for confirmation, but the account was blocked. I then sold several items with a new account using my current bank account, thinking I could offset the amount I owe eBay with the sales. However, I have just learned over the phone that this is not possible. Is it possible to unlock the new account now with my current information, current bank details, and the money from the items sold? I recently bought an eBay gift card and still have the receipt. I almost fell victim to a scam. When I contacted their customer service center regarding getting a refund for the card, I was informed that I needed to make a purchase in order to receive my funds back. This approach troubles me, as I believe customers should have the option of receiving a refund if they choose. It's frustrating when businesses do not provide clear contact information for customer relations or offer refunds on their gift cards. If eBay does not allow refunds on their gift cards, then perhaps they should reconsider selling them in retail stores. I am willing to return the card to the headquarters if needed to obtain my refund.

I have been having trouble paying for the item I ordered on eBay through PayPal. The PayPal site has been buffering for three days, and I can't make the payment. I've tried contacting eBay and PayPal, but the customer service representative couldn't assist me in paying over the phone. It seems to be an ongoing internal problem with PayPal's connectivity according to online reports. This issue is frustrating for both sellers and buyers. I am experiencing difficulty with the seller regarding a refund for my purchase of 19 ancient coins. After having 3 of the coins authenticated by NGC ancient, they were determined to be inauthentic. I returned all 19 coins to the seller, which they received on 4/30/22. Initially, the seller agreed to refund my purchase upon receiving the coins, but now claims the return period has passed. As per eBay's buyer protection policy for misrepresented items, I am seeking a guaranteed refund for the 19 coins that were proven to be fake with supporting documentation from NGC. Despite submitting evidence and documentation for all coins, eBay has closed the case without resolution, except for 2 coins. I recently sold some Miura Golf Clubs/Irons and shipped them yesterday. My concern is that even though it says the funds are available, I am unable to access them until 5/19/22. This is frustrating as I have never experienced this delay on eBay before. I worry about potential fraud, especially if a buyer uses a stolen credit card, receives the items, then cancels the payment, leaving me at a loss. I hope this issue gets resolved soon as I just want to receive the payment for the item I sold and shipped. The buyer has the shipping information, the item is insured, and I provided shipping details to eBay. I hope this delay doesn't make it easier for fraudulent buyers to take advantage of sellers like me.

I received an email from eBay stating my account is temporarily locked and prompting me to reset my password. However, when I try to reset it, I keep getting redirected to the same screen. Last Thursday, I spent more than an hour with a customer service agent who was challenging to understand. He mentioned escalating the issue to the technical department, but I haven't received any follow-up since. I also have an order pending from 05-04-22 to 05-07-22 that I have not received. Every attempt I make to contact eBay results in the same account suspension message. I am eager to resolve this matter promptly as my credit card has already been charged for the order.

I purchased an OrangeRX DS2/DSMX compatible Radio System for $[redacted].30. The package arrived damaged with missing parts and scratches. I made a purchase on eBay that was never received, despite the tracking number indicating it was delivered. The seller did not issue a refund, leading me to involve eBay. To proceed, eBay requested a letter from Royal Mail admitting fault in the delivery, which I uploaded as instructed but was rejected without explanation. After requesting a call back, eBay assured me my case would be reviewed within three working days. However, I am still waiting for a resolution past this deadline. Additionally, Royal Mail noted that the seller could request a refund while I am left without the item or a refund due to eBay's refusal to accept clear admission of responsibility from Royal Mail.

I opened an account and immediately posted this ad: [redacted]01 - CARLSBRO K-[redacted] MULTI-INSTRUMENT AMPLIFIER – Like New A few minutes later, I received an email stating: We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because we have detected activity that may pose a risk to the eBay Community. My username is piliyo_60. The ad was for a guitar amplifier, but I am unsure why my account was suspended as I did not violate any rules based on their guidelines.

I purchased some Silver Eagle Coins and was charged $30.00 in sales tax by the seller, CoinAdvisor. Other sellers are selling the same coins in the same category with no sales tax applied. These coins are considered non-taxable items in my state of Florida and in the seller's state of Arizona. I am seeking a refund for the $30 overcharge as I believe it was unjustified. The seller has advised me to contact eBay to resolve the issue.

I have been struggling to get assistance from eBay concerning a pair of counterfeit cleats I purchased. eBay has not taken any action apart from directing me to communicate with the seller to resolve the issue. I have not received the item I purchased on January 31, [redacted]. It is a registered package that reached the North Houston Texas Distribution Center in March but never made it to my local post office. I raised this issue with eBay, but they only confirmed the shipment which I already knew due to the tracking number. Despite contacting USPS as well, they have not responded, and I am frustrated that nobody seems to care about locating the package. I am disappointed with a seller on a platform who is charging significantly more for shipping than the actual product. The set of 14 mm hex nuts priced at $5.99 can easily fit in an envelope for mailing. However, the seller in Texas wants to charge $10.99 to send them to Richmond in 4 days. I promptly contacted them to cancel my order after seeing the high shipping cost, but they ignored my requests and even accused me of violating policies. Despite multiple attempts to communicate, the seller has not responded, and I am frustrated by the lack of resolution. I am considering involving the Attorney General's office for consumer protection if this matter is not resolved soon. It is essential for platforms like eBay to have better customer support options for situations like this.

I have received conflicting emails about a fraudulent buyer transaction on eBay. I submitted a declaration detailing the fraud case, but shortly after, I received another email stating that funds would be debited from my bank account to cover fees related to the issue. I firmly believe that I am not at fault in this situation, as the buyer has attempted to defraud me and eBay. Despite my 25 years of selling experience on eBay, I feel that my side of the story has been disregarded, and I have been unfairly treated in this process.

I recently sold a couple of items on my account, but I haven't received payment for them yet because my previous bank account didn't meet eBay's requirements. I now have a Wells Fargo checking account, and I can finally receive the funds. Due to personal circumstances, I was in Hawaii caring for my mother and house for about 90 days, which delayed this process. Now that I'm back in California, I'm trying to organize everything. Unfortunately, I can't recall the email associated with the account where I sold a $91 Victoria's Secret card and Nike Air Force Ones. If needed, my phone number associated with the accounts is [redacted]. There should be around $[redacted] in the account, but I'm unable to locate it.

I received a QR code for a return label in my email because the seller sent the incorrect item. The seller's policy states that I am responsible for the return shipping costs. If the seller or their employees mistakenly sent the wrong item, can the QR code at USPS be scanned for free shipping? Will I receive a full refund for the $28.05 purchase price? The item was supposed to be a hooded teddy bear jacket from the industrial area of Los Angeles, but a blanket was sent instead. The package seemed suspicious as it arrived shrink-wrapped, and it appeared as if the items may have been switched at some point. Despite reaching out to the seller four times to address the issue, I have not received a response.
