On April 24th, I purchased a Wizzair flight ticket via Gotogate for a flight from London to Tel Aviv. The original flight (KGRIRA) scheduled for May 22nd was canceled, and I received an email offering an alternative flight for May 23rd. I had paid for seat reservation and checked baggage. I prefer a full refund rather than traveling on May 23rd. I would like the refund processed to my bank account covering the flight, airport tax, seat reservation, and checked baggage. Additionally, I am curious about the breakdown of Gotogate and Wizzair's shares for each of the payments made. I am anticipating your response. Thank you.

Hello, I was scheduled to fly to Iasi last night on the 9:50 pm flight. I had communicated with the Romanian Embassy, British Embassy, and airlines beforehand regarding the requirements for a UK citizen traveling with their Romanian partner of 4 years to visit a sick relative or provide care in Romania. Despite having evidence of the relative's medical condition, I was not informed about needing a permission form from the authorities. At check-in, I was denied boarding for not having a letter proving residence with my partner. This unexpected requirement has left me unable to see my family and incurred costs for unused flights. The information provided prior to the flight was misleading and I am disappointed by the situation. I would appreciate it if this could be addressed.

My family has had a Wizzair account in my husband's name, Peter Brooks, for many years for our travels to Bulgaria. I am hoping to change the account into a family one with both Peter Brooks and myself, Yordanka Brooks. This change is necessary as I frequently travel alone to Bulgaria to care for my elderly parent. I need access to the credit on the account to purchase tickets, especially after having to cancel a ticket due to illness, where the credit is tied to my name and I couldn't use it with the current setup. Could you guide me on how to convert this account? Accessing this credit is crucial now due to the additional expenses of mandatory Covid tests for travel. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Warm regards, Yordanka Brooks

Today, I received a notification about the cancellation of my flight from Yerevan to Vienna on 08/29 (confirmation code: FIQHGH). I am disappointed with my choice of airline. In reality, due to your decision, myself and another passenger (G.H. & H.A.) are facing inconvenience, financial losses, and unclear future decisions. I will be transparent and state that if my issue is not resolved: 1. Arriving in Nice on 08/30 by any means, 2. In case of rescheduling the flight to 09/01, corresponding adjustments to return flights two to three days forward, 3. Refund for the flights Yerevan-Vienna with code FIQHGH and Vienna-Nice with code TEPVJW. I will reach out to relevant authorities that could influence the resolution and its future ramifications. I am unsure if important factors such as connecting routes were considered when canceling or rescheduling the flight. Our itinerary includes not only Yerevan-Nice but also Vienna-Nice on 08/30 with code TEPVJW, and return flights on 09/09 and 09/15 with codes FEMC4D and BJZVSH. The Nice-Vienna-Vienna-Yerevan route with your airline is crucial for us. I am not even mentioning hotel and car rental bookings that will lead to financial inconveniences. Please resolve this promptly and inform me as soon as possible so I can purchase tickets with other carriers for these routes.

Hello, I have a booking with confirmation code IL68MB. I was charged for both days (departure and arrival) without prior notice, which is becoming a frustrating pattern with your company. I have concerns about your reliability and sustainability, despite your competitive prices. It is important to address these issues beyond pricing. I wanted to bring to your attention that on July 10th, my flight arrival time is at 15:45 with a connecting flight at 10:50 and a business meeting at 12:30 on the same day. I urgently need assistance with this tight schedule. The return date, July 20th, can be flexible. I appreciate your prompt response to help resolve this matter. Thank you, Y.H.

I had booked a short holiday trip to Porto, Portugal while it was listed under the Green traffic light system. The day after, Portugal was moved to amber status. Despite having my second dose and consistently negative LFT test results, I needed to take Fit to Fly tests as required by airlines. I purchased 3 tests for £[redacted].00 (2 Fit to Fly tests and a 5-day release test). After completing my negative Fit to Fly test on June 19, I found out from WizzAir that my flight was cancelled while filling out a form for my Portugal visit. I contacted my booking agent, lastminute.com, and opted for a full refund for my holiday. I am now unsure who is responsible for reimbursing me for the Fit to Fly and Release tests, totaling £[redacted].00. Should WizzAir be responsible since they cancelled the flight?

Hello, I am scheduled to return home via WizzAir this Friday, the 9th of July, and am encountering an issue with my seating reservation. A month ago, I paid for a premium seat at the exit row due to my height of 2 meters, which necessitates extra legroom. However, due to a plane change, my reservation has been moved to a regular row. This situation has occurred before, leading me to confront challenges with the airline ground crew. I have attempted to address this matter by contacting WizzAir. After several calls, the representatives have informed me that all seats with extra legroom are taken. The best offer given was an aisle seat, which poses an inconvenience as I would need to stand each time the duty-free trolley passes. At this point, the only suitable solution I can agree upon would be an arrangement where I am seated next to an unoccupied seat for additional space. Ideally, this would also allow my mother and me to sit together. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Henry

Dear Wizz Air Team, Our flight is scheduled in 12 days, and I kindly request urgent assistance regarding our booking. The reservation for the period from 18.07.[redacted] to 08.08.[redacted] was made by my husband, Fetah Meta, for me and our son. Confirmation code: MDQ7FJ. There are errors in the surnames on the booking which need correction. My name on the booking, Alejna Selimi (Meta), is correct as we are now married and I have taken my husband's name. However, this change has not been reflected in the documents yet due to limitations. This will be rectified with this trip. Therefore, my passport only shows Alejna Selimi. Similarly, the booking name for my son, Nael (Selimi), is also incorrect. This was his birth name but was changed to Nael (Meta) after our marriage. His new passport since 03.07.[redacted] officially states Nael (Meta). I would like to provide proof such as passports, marriage certificate, and birth certificate for this matter, but unfortunately, there is no option to attach them here. Please let me know the email where I can send these documents. I appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. Best regards, Alejna Selimi

Hello everyone, I need help with my reservation made under the name Andrea Kantorova. I originally booked without luggage but now wish to upgrade my booking and add luggage. I have been unable to make a payment since yesterday. My card has been rejected multiple times for reasons like insufficient funds, incorrect card details - even though they were correct, and exceeding the daily limit. I also tried another card with enough funds and no recent transactions to exceed the daily limit. Could you please check if there is an issue on your end? My flight is scheduled for Thursday evening, so I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you, Andrea Kantorova.

Hello! I'm reaching out regarding a recent flight booking I made with your company through Vola on Tuesday, 13/07/[redacted]. My booking number is Y6BFc for a flight from Brussels to Bacau. I received an email today from a Vola consultant stating that there has been an increase in the ticket price and I am required to pay the difference. I find this unexpected as I successfully made the payment for the reservation without any issues. The lack of prior warning about potential price changes concerns me, and I hope this is just an oversight. I was looking forward to this trip, and I appreciate your prompt clarification on this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

My flight was canceled, and I opted for a rebooking service. I then selected another flight with no change fee and added extra luggage, assuming the only cost would be for the baggage. Upon confirming the new flight, Wizz Air now claims I owe additional charges which were not previously disclosed. I am frustrated by this unexpected demand for more money and feel misled. I am seeking clarification on this charge and request that Wizz Air waive it or allow me to switch to a different flight without this extra fee, considering they canceled my original flight, and I have purchased WIZZ Flex for added flexibility.

We were scheduled to fly to Zante on July 13th. Despite multiple flight changes, Wizz Air has now canceled our flights. We've tried to reach out to Wizz Air but have not received any response. They have proposed changing our flights, but we cannot fly due to a severely ill passenger. We are seeking a refund for our tickets.

Dear Customer Service, My recent experience with your services while traveling to Italy has been extremely disappointing. I am reaching out to seek assistance in obtaining compensation for the various expenses we incurred as a result of the issues we faced. We had booked flight w65562 from Tel Aviv to Milan at 12:10 with Wizz Air. Both my husband, Mr. M. Hacohen, and myself had made our bookings through your airline. Our flight was delayed by 30 minutes and then unexpectedly rerouted to Bergamo airport instead of our intended destination, Malpensa, resulting in a 5-hour delay. We received no assistance from the Wizz Air ground crew during this time. As a result, we missed our car rental pickup, incurring a $[redacted] charge for a new reservation and losing $[redacted] for the unused rental. Additionally, our late arrival caused inconvenience to our hosts who had to wait up for us. To our further surprise, we were required to pay an extra 80 euros for airport check-in upon arrival in Tel Aviv, a procedure for which we had not been informed beforehand. The handling of our case and the resolution provided will be shared in detail on a widespread social media platform should we not receive a satisfactory response. We anticipate your prompt support and cooperation in addressing our concerns.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my experience trying to cancel my flight with Wizz Air through their Call Centre. I have spent over 6 hours calling on 3 different phones without any response. Unfortunately, due to a recent family bereavement, I urgently need to cancel my flight from London Luton to Tirana on the 12th of July. I am disappointed by the lack of alternative contact methods and the excessive charges incurred during my numerous unsuccessful attempts. My flight confirmation code is KLC4YR, with a payment of [redacted].49 GB. It is imperative that this matter is addressed promptly, as it is my right as a customer to cancel this ticket. The current situation is causing undue stress during an already challenging time for my family. I trust that someone will assist me in resolving this issue promptly.

I purchased a ticket to Moscow on August 13th and the return flight to London on September 3rd, but my Moscow flight got canceled. Can you clarify why the cancellation happened? I need details on why my ticket was canceled and guidance on booking a new one for the same date or a similar date. Due to language barriers, I cannot make a phone call at this time, so please provide a written explanation. If possible, kindly share a contact number for reaching a Russian-speaking representative. My confirmation code is JE1QGW. Thank you. - Nigar M.

Hello, I am Anastasia K., and I have a flight reservation from Athens to Larnaca on July 28th with flight number W6 [redacted], confirmed with XDUY2J. I am currently recovering from covid-19 diagnosed on July 9th. I expect to finish quarantine on July 19 but face issues with the EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE. Despite being valid from July 29, my country allows early issuance. This raises concerns about its validity during my upcoming trip to Cyprus on July 28. Greek authorities stated my post-recovery state might cause positive PCR results for three months but without infection risk. As PCR tests won't be relevant for travel, I am uncertain about using a Rapid test or just the immunity certificate for my trip. Your advice on these circumstances would be appreciated. Thank you.

I recently made a change to my flight booking from Split to Rome, moving it from August 2nd to August 30th. Initially, I thought the new price included the change fee and other costs, meaning I would only have to pay the difference. However, when I reached the payment confirmation, I noticed that the amount I had already paid for the previous booking was not taken into account. Now I have the new reservation pending payment and I'm unsure if the cost of the previous reservation will be factored into the change. Can you clarify this for me?

Hello, I wanted to address the recent cancellation of my flight from Riga Airport to Doncaster Airport on the 8th of September [redacted], with a return on the 15th of September [redacted] under flight code XL91QE. I purchased the ticket on the 19th of June, and received an email on the 29th of June notifying me about the cancellation. However, I did not receive any notification via text message as I had bought the ticket for someone else and do not check my email regularly. I would appreciate if you could provide me with the reason for the cancellation, as well as expedite the refund process. According to Wizz Air's policy, refunds should be processed within 30 days. As of the 23rd of July, I have not received the refund of €49.99 back into my bank account. I am aware that I may be entitled to compensation of approximately €[redacted] due to the distance of the flight being around [redacted] km, making the total to be refunded €[redacted].99. Please assist me promptly regarding these matters.

Hi there, I'm reaching out to you because a few days ago you canceled both a flight from Faro to Rome on September 15 and the return flight from Rome to Faro on September 19 for me. The flight is under the name Carlota Emilia Caballero Santos with booking reference KCNT6Z on Wizz Air. When I log into the Wizz app, I receive a notification stating that to change the flight or request a refund for both flights, I need to contact the agency through which I made the booking, which is Mytrip. I have emailed this agency with the same information I am sharing with you now. I need the refund for the amount I paid for both flights promptly, so I kindly ask for a solution as soon as possible. I am unsure of the procedure to request a refund. Please contact Mytrip on my behalf to arrange the refund. Thank you, and I look forward to your prompt response.
